Handmade Ceramic Mug
These handmade midcentury inspired ceramic mugs are thrown on a potter's wheel with tan speckled stoneware clay. The interiors are glazed with a durable satin white glaze, the outside carved patterns are inlaid with a charcoal matte or white glaze and the shapes are glazed with sage green/wheat or rhubarb/sage green colored glazes. Some of the clay is left exposed to highlight the beauty of the fired clay and create a variety of texture between glazed and unglazed surfaces. The handle is designed to be durable and comfortable to hold. After the final glaze firing the bottoms of the mugs are sanded super smooth so as to not cause any scratches to your tabletops!
