Sanctuary Ceramics
Hello! I'm Emily and I design and hand craft every piece for Sanctuary Ceramics - a collection of pottery created to make every day dining a fun and aesthetically pleasing experience. I work on a pottery wheel with stoneware clay in my studio Landers, California.
My passion for making pottery started when I was a child. My dad even helped build a kiln for my elementary school! I grew up moving all over the world and have always been interested in artisans creating handmade objects.
After studying art education and ceramics, I settled in California. I currently live in the Mojave Desert and work from my home studio. Every item is designed and hand made, each piece one by one. I love the slow pace and meditative nature of creating pottery and the joy that using a handmade item can bring to daily rituals.
All items are microwave and dishwasher safe, but we recommend hand washing.
